Bill O'Neil, KW8KW recently shared his method of grounding his antenna (always a good idea) when not in use with the Smartuner User's Group. Thanks KW8KW.

"I am using a heavy duty DPDT porcelain knife swtich. One SPDT is used to switch the long wire to the coupler - the other way grounds the longwire. The second SPDT is connected to 12V and, when the antenna switch is in the coupler position, feeds 12V into the shack lighting a green LED to indicate that I have the antenna connected to the coupler."
